| Rhiever | Mar 12, 10:31pm | Hey all,
I'm starting up a web site where I host friendly programming competitions between other programmers and myself on a regular basis. I already have the first problem and competition up and going. If you like solving programming problems in your free time like myself, come join in on the fun. :-]
Here's my site: rhiever.110mb.com [rhiever.110mb.com]
The competition is under the 'Beat My Code' section.

Just as I was thinking "Ooh, double and triple word scores will make this entertaining," I read this: To make this problem a little easier, I will not require you to take Doubles and Triples into consideration. Given that it's the first one, I get that easier is better, but it was still a little let-down.
And You may only use the C programming language (NOT C++) -- I was somewhat looking forward to seeing how the same problem is approached in different languages.
I'll be competing, anyways. |

| Rhiever | Mar 17, 11:03pm | Hiya!
I'm considering opening the upcoming competitions up to be any language of choice. I'll be holding a poll on my forum sometime soon to see what the competitors think about making the language choice open rather than having me choose.
Looking forward to seeing your solution. :)
